1. Working Principle

The main ingredient of bear spray is capsaicin (pepper extract), which is a powerful irritant. The spray produces a dense mist that is sprayed directly at the bear's face, irritating its eyes, nasal cavity and respiratory tract, causing severe discomfort and temporary blindness, forcing the bear to leave.

2. How to use

Where to carry: Bear spray should be accessible at all times, usually worn on a belt, backpack shoulder strap or arm.

Spray distance: The effective spray range is usually 6-12 meters

Operation steps:

Unplug the safety lock.

Aim at the bear's face.

Continuously press the spray button and spray for about 2-3 seconds until the bear stops attacking or changes direction.
